A Women's Carpentry Workshop

Check back for 2021 dates!

An all-inclusive introduction to carpentry workshop for women (cis, trans, and non-binary). Join the all-female crew of carpenters and homebuilders to learn safe operation of power and hand tools. We will spend two consecutive Saturdays building together to empower women to feel confident and capable of tackling carpentry projects. Participants will build sawhorses for the sponsors on the first day and learn safe operation of power tools. The second day will be spent building tool boxes for each participant to take home and brainstorming personal projects with the crew. Registration will be $45 per person, with the option of a partial scholarship. Optional catered lunch for both days is available for $15.

CEBE is committed to following CDC guidelines, and event organizers will continue to evaluate and plan for a compliant event that minimizes risk of disease transmission. If you need to cancel your registration due to Covid-19, your registration fee will be refunded if you provide at least 48 hours notice. Please keep an eye on this page for further details regarding Covid.
