THE GLOBAL CARBON PROJECT

The Global Carbon Project (GCP) integrates knowledge of greenhouse gases for human activities and the Earth system. Our projects include global budgets for three dominant greenhouse gases — carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide — and complementary efforts in urban, regional, cumulative, and negative emissions.

THE CEBE LENDING LIBRARY

We have an entire library, full of useful information from gardening, permaculture, and plants, to alternative energy sources and building techniques, as well as books written by leading climate authors in the world.

CLIMATE CRISIS IN MAINE, 350 MAINE

Based on current forecasts like the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Report, it is clear that we have little more than a decade to bring humanity into balance with the biosphere while our children's future hangs in the balance. A just transition to 100% renewable energy is not only possible but imperative. We must take appropriate action individually and collectively to make it happen. We must act quickly.
